I blog.. therefore I am? It’s all about infrastructure.. without the proper tools, no one would be blogging, except for the technologically elite (aka web nerds that know how to automate).
So I can’t believe they actually caught Bobby Fischer in Japan. I guess he was too careless.. I would think he’d be one of those people that you could never stop “searching for.” Anyways, they’re deporting him back to the US.. wonder what they’ll do with him.
I need a bike. Actually, Tippy needs a bike, and I need to fix the flat on my bike. Time to look on craigslist…
My fish are dying…
Life is too short to be doing laundry
Brown Cow yogurt is the best (and provides the 30% of saturated fat I need!)
Everywhere you look, you’ll read something about how so-and-so fruit/vegetable has some extraordinary vitamin that is so essential to us. You should eat fruit X!! I sick and tired of reading that about every single fruit and vegetable. Sure they have some vitamins.. every fruit and vegetable has at least trace amounts of good stuff for you. Period. There is no need to go on an avacado craze for the sake of some vitamin that you’re already probably getting all of your daily suggested dose.
We rolled our own avacado and bbq eels sushi tonight. It was great. We probably ate the equivalent of over $40 worth of sushi, at a price of under $4. I think this will be a weekly tradition from now on. We also need a bit more practice at rolling…
Sunny day today.. yet cool. Very nice. Went to the farmer’s market to check out the fresh fruit and produce. Made some good guacemole. Had great times…
Finally, the day has come when the sea of boxes has been drained from the apartment. We’re happy to say, we are satisfied with the results of our hard work. Now, all that’s left are small administrative tasks.
My job has been going well. I find that working at a startup is much more work intensive than at a big company like Intel. It seems like everyone has a task queue for me to do. However, I really like being busy all day, it really makes it go by much faster. I probably look once at the clock at 9:00am, and the next thing I know, it’ll be noon, and off to lunch I go with Tippy. I’ve done a lot of work in Perl in the last week, which is quite refreshing. I’ve always wanted to do some real-world programming, and this is the place to do it.
Tippy and I cooked some enchiladas tonight: really improvised a lot. They were great though.. the cumin really hit the spot.
