Can anyone verify the jacket that this guy is wearing? If my eyes do not betray me, the garment seems to be a jacket with the midsection cropped to about the height of the sleeves (which are short). Will the more fashion enabled please explain this jacket? Karen??

…the color of the red underneath the “cropped” part matches the red in the collar…and the red fabric quality matches the navy with the bit of sheen…thus i believe it’s used as a windbreaker thingy as opposed to being an actual cropped jacket. furthermore, upon closer examination, there is a seam line about 3 inches above the navy line where the two colors separate (notice a tad of puckering on the blue implying stiches…) so, i guess he’s ok in that area.
as for the short sleeves…there might have been a detachable sleeve or it’s just cut that way….i have no clue.
