I had an interview with Audience, a speech recognition startup company in Mountainview. There’s so many smart and interesting people working there, and I would be doing relevant work in audio signal processing. I really hope I get this job… it would really give me good industry experience in audio.

It’s been too hot lately. The temperature dial goes up 20 degrees each day from a nice 70 in the morning to a humid 90 in the afternoon. And there are no fans.
Today I have an interview with a tutoring company that goes to people’s houses in need of SAT tutoring. I think they’re going to give me an SAT test when I get there, I better be able to concentrate…
hectic hectic.. trying to move in furniture, recarpet, and set up phone things all at the same time. Today consisted of calling millions of movers in hopes of finding good prices on moving furniture. More about this later…
We decided to go with an orangish tone for the other walls of the living room. We also decided against painting the bedroom (painting is harder work than we thought!) Anyway, we’re glad it’s over now.. and we have green and orange marks on various parts of the our bodies to show for it.
So painting turns out to be quite a job. We first started with a light yellow, but we decided that it looked white when dried (useless!) So we went for a bright green instead. Spent all day today painting, and plan to spend all of Sunday finishing the job. Really tired…
